New Fall TV Season

The one and probably only thing I enjoy about the end of summer is the new Fall season of television. There’s always the hope of finding a few new shows to pass the time in the winter. Over the last week the DH and I watched a handful of new shows. The only one that has stuck so far is Person of Interest. I’m hoping it continues to be good and stays away from the chopping block.
I’ve gotten involved in a few shows only to be disappointed when they were cut due to low ratings. I remember a time when shows were given an entire season, sometimes more to draw a following. Now if ratings are low after the first two airings it’s time to cut it. What’s up with that? Any shows that have hooked you?
Well today I return to work so if blogging is minimal this week I’m trying to adjust to the new schedule. :o) I’ll get the hang of it. Now if my little bugger would sleep through the night. She has her days and nights mixed up, but I’m fixing that with a bit of cereal in the evening. She’s already 9lbs. She’s doubled her birth weight and then some. Woo Hoo.
Time to get a move on.
Happy Monday!

  1. Wow, 9 pounds. Congrats to baby T! Ugh, I so don't miss getting up at night. Wait, I had to get up at 2 last night to attend my kid crying, "Mommy, mommy." It's impossible to ignore them when they start calling your name.

I'm a sit-com girl, so I'm looking forward to 2 1/2 Men, Mike & Molly, Big Bang Theory, etc. But I also became addicted to Pretty Little Liars on ABCFamily. I think that starts again in Oct.

  2. Yay! Nine pounds! What a girl! I'm so happy for you!
Person of Interest is my one and only choice. I have no interest in any of the other new shows. I loved the season premiere of The Big Bang Theory! Can't wait for The Walking Dead and the return of Game of Thrones.

  3. 9 pounds! Unbelievable. I always hate the night/day confusion stage. Seems they all go through it, doesn't it? Good luck with the new routine.

And the fall schedule? I rarely look at the new shows. I'm too worried they'll cancel it just as it's getting good.

I stick with Survivor (I know, it's a sick addiction) and Big Bang Theory. BBT never disappoints. It's just getting better and better.

  4. Yeah peanut!!!!! I am so glad so is gaining weight. You must be feeding her well. I expect to see more pictures on Saturday. I really like The Secret Circle which is new. I tried to watch Charlie's Angels but it was so bad, I had to switch it. I am really looking forward to the new fairy tale show and Grimm next month.
