We now return to our regularly scheduled event. :0) Yesterday I had a guest blogger so some had an extra day to enter the 12 days of Christmas contest. Lucky you!
My daughter is starting to feel better and now I have a horrible cold. It’s no time to be sick!!! Too much left to do.
I finished the first draft of All or Nothing. Now I have a bunch of research to do and self-edits. I’m hoping to ship this baby off to my editor before the 1st. I have an article to write and one novella to edit also.
I started a new story. The beginning scene had been playing in my mind for weeks, so I sat down and wrote it. It’s about a husband and wife who spend a rainy day pushing their sexual limits. This is going to be one of my hottest to date.

On to the contest winner from Day 4.
Thanks again to random.org for choosing the winner: Venus
Please send me an email to amberskyze @ aol.com to claim your prize.

Day 5 question – What is the name of Frank's sister. (of course you know the answer is in the excerpt!) ;)

Blurb:
Interior Designer Teagan Topaz doesn’t believe in love, after finding her fiancĂ© in bed doing the nasty with another woman. Nine long months later Teagan finds herself sexually frustrated, due to a recent surge of explicit sex phone calls on her business line. Frank Black needs Teagan’s expertise to put the finishing touches on a room in his house, but he fantasizes about tying her up and ravishing her. Will Teagan be able to resist the designs Frank has for her?

Excerpt:
Holy shit!
Teagan couldn’t remember ever experiencing such intensity before. Stars flashed before her eyes as Frank drove her over the edge, tumbling to ecstasy.
Both feet back on the floor, Teagan rested her head on his shoulder, allowing herself time to catch her breath and time to wonder what the fuck she was thinking.
Yes, it was a mind-blowing experience, but she wasn’t the type to let her inhibitions go and succumb to a man she just met. But she had to admit, Frank Black wasn’t just any man. There was something about him, something that made Teagan want to stay and learn more about him. She wanted to figure out what this attraction was she felt. There was attraction; a deep one that scared the shit out of her. She hadn’t felt this way since Tim and her instincts were dead wrong about him. She didn’t want to make the same mistakes trusting another man. Maybe it was the phone calls. They had her sexually frustrated and needing release. Maybe she was confusing the need for sex with attraction. But damn, Frank did know how to please her.
Teagan felt empty as Frank stepped back, but her emptiness didn’t last long. He wrapped her in his arms, planting gentle kisses on her face.
"You’re an amazingly beautiful woman, Teagan Topaz."
She blushed, unused to so many compliments.
"I could make love to you all night long."
Teagan’s stomach grumbled before she had a chance to respond.
"But first, I must feed you."
She laughed nervously.
"You’ll need energy for what I have in store for you."
"What about Susan?" Teagan asked. As exciting as the prospect sounded, his sister lived in his house and would be returning home eventually.
"We’ll worry about that after dinner."
Frank helped Teagan put her clothes back in order, and then kissed the tip of her nose. "I’d rather have dessert first…"

  4. Susan:) LOL...seven years ago, while expecting my youngest, my obgyn told me to stay off my feet. I informed her I was waaaay too busy and that Christmas Day I'd go on strike:) And that's exactly what I did! Christmas morning, I announced I was now taking my 'maternity leave' from all household chores:)

Feel better soon, and if you can, take a couple of personal days to pamper yourself:)

  15. Susan!
Sorry you've had sickness in the house - always seems to be the same this time of year, nightmare when you have soooo much to do too!
I absolutely know what you mean about having a scene in your head and needing to write it down - even when there are other jobs pending - once it grips you it is a real alive fear the details will evaporate!!
Happy writing and best wishes for the season.
