Addictions

I have many. One reared its ugly head last week. In the midst of another round of sickness roaming through our house I decided to distress with Jewel Quest. I played so much I didn’t watch television, didn’t write, didn’t blog. I didn’t do much but sit on the couch with my laptop and that vicious game. Yesterday I played until I had to go to my sister in laws baby shower. I paused my game until I got home and picked up where I left off. I continued playing until my eyes and head hurt. I finally said enough is enough. I quit, took some Tylenol and headed to bed. I made a choice NOT to play again today. I haven’t written in a week. I’m letting other things fall by the wayside. It’s unacceptable. This morning I woke up and wrote 1200 words. Production! I have a new release today and it deals with additions. Delia the heroine has an addiction to shopping. She cures what ails her with retail therapy. Only her therapy normally comes with a high price tag – a good paddling from Scott her husband. Scott only spanks his wife when her addiction gets out of control. Scott and Delia were first introduced to you in the Spank Me Twice Anthology. My story is Rein Me In. This story is called Love Revisited – Scott and Delia. Its available today from Noble Romance. http://www.nobleromance.com Hope you enjoy the story. I know I had a lot of fun writing it!

  1. Congrats on the new release! It's great to revisit familiar characters. As a reader, I like to imagine "what are they doing now" daydreams. Keep writing. Stay away from that game! I feel the same with Bejeweled!

  3. LOL:) Ever read the Shopoholic books? Becky needs to be spanked by Luke, hahahahaha!

Seriously, I can't wait to read this book! And I'm with Marie; I love when secondary characters get their own stories:)

Happy release day! And I'm guilty of being addicted to Facebook and YouTube...I stay away from the games, though.
