Happy Friday!

I know I’ve been quiet again. Know that I’m thinking of you all. I’m busy taking care of bipolar teen, wedding plans for my eldest daughter and finishing up the second full time job. Oh and in between I’m writing when I can.

I had lunch last week with two writer friends - Marie Rose Dufour and Eden Elgabri - it was much needed. I can't wait to do it again.

I miss blogging and hearing from my readers and friends. Hoping to be back in the game real soon.

I Wrote!!!

LOL...I know so what, right? For me this is a big deal. I've been blocked, depressed, call it what you want. Bottom line is I haven't been writing. This morning I woke and wrote five pages. I feel good! :) I was feeling so good I got a head start on my local chapter's newsletter. I'm sure I'll crash shortly, but that doesn't matter.
The weekend is looking crappy. Rain, possible snow showers and bitter cold temps. But I have no children and no work, so the DH and I WILL be enjoying this weekend. I'm determined to not be sick.

TGIF!

I made it to Friday! I'm feeling much better. Luckily I don't have to work this weekend, but I do have softball games. Four to be exact. Also this is the week of my chapter's meeting. Looking forward to seeing everyone after the summer break.

I did get some writing done this week. My hero and heroine are officially in bed. They currently in the midst of foreplay waiting for me to return. They should be more than ready to do the deed when I return! :)

Next week is going to be all about promotion on my blog. I haven't been doing much promotion and it's time I got my butt in gear. So everyday I'm going to post an excerpt from each of my books. I may even treat you to some wips! No not whips! Unless of course you're into that.

You don't know how happy I am it's Friday. This week has been tough to say the least. But I can finally say I found a way to use the part of my book I have to dump for one editor. I'm going to use it for a short story I'm writing for another editor. AND the short story I had rejected for being too cute, well I'm going to harden that up and use it for my series Lady Shea's Manor. While I was writing Secret Rendezvous I felt it would be perfect for the series.

So, there you have it..my plans for next week. Kid free this weekend - YAY. Might go to the movies. DH wants to see GI Joe. I may humor him! :o)
