As usual my life is busy. I just finished edits for Spend The Night With Me. I have a release date of September 15th.
Edits for Adrift – formally titled Stranded, arrived yesterday. I really liked the title Stranded, but Loose-Id has a book with the same name already. They’re talking about an early Fall release. No date yet.
Edits for Play With Me, book three in the Freedom Fantasies should be arriving in a few weeks. In the meantime I’m working on a Christmas quickie – Naughty St. Nick.
Short and sweet today…it’s time for me to get back to edits and paperwork. Happy Tuesday.

Exciting News
I signed a contract with Loose Id over the weekend for Stranded. This is a M/M/F, about a plus sized woman, who has scars and is haunted by her past. Adam and Ben are ready willing and hopefully able to show her even bigger women deserve love.

The End
I typed those two words on two manuscripts this week. Wednesday I sent one editor my cougar challenge story and today I finished Stranded. I began editing Stranded yesterday, knowing the end was near. My hopes are to have it to the new editor by Monday or Tuesday.
I’ve been suffering from migraines all week long and they’ve taken their toll on me. It’s probably the stress from trying to get two books done and finish all the preparations for the surprise party. Tomorrow is the big day…all my hard work will be over. It can’t come soon enough. I still have running to do today and in the morning. I hope the DH realizes how much I love him. LOL
Tomorrow is also my mom’s birthday. Even though we celebrated it a few weeks ago, I’ll do something small for her when she arrives.
Sunday I will crash – hard! The DH is talking about leaving Sunday night for Block Island. We’ll see.
As I’ve been saying I’ll be on vacation next week – woo hoo. Probably won’t be blogging too much. The second half of the week I’ll have limited email access too. I’ll likely leave you all with snippets of my backlist.

Monday Again
We did a lot of partying over the weekend. On Saturday we had to go to a three year olds party. Plus run around for the cookout at our house on Sunday. The DH’s father and family came over to celebrate Father’s Day. We ate lots of food and my BIL brought some delicious pastries. Overall it was a great weekend.
Progress on Stranded is coming along nicely too. I’m currently at 22k. I projected this to be around 25k. It will likely run over, but hey, that’s cool. I’m sure the editor won’t mind. I’m still hoping to wrap it up by Friday.
Our vacation plans have changed about 50 times. Originally we were going to go away for a few days alone. My youngest has decided she doesn’t want to spend much time in NY with her father. (Can’t say I blame her) We decided to take her and a friend and drive to PA. We were there two years ago when she qualified for Nationals with her softball team. We went to Hershey Park, but a big storm prevented us from staying. We swore we’d go back, so that’s what we’re doing. Next Thursday we’ll hop in the car and make the 6 hour drive. We’ll return on Sunday and relax on Monday as we both have it off from work.
Today I plan to spend some time on the pool deck and enjoy this sun!

YAY! It's Friday.
One week until vacation and eight days until the second surprise party is over. Let me tell you, a few times I wanted to just tell the DH about the party. The two families are stressing me out. Some don’t respond, some are starting fights with others and the biggest issue was a gift. Now mind you I’m excited my hubby’s getting a gift he wants for his birthday, but the timing is an issue.
We planned on getting away to Block Island for three or four days during our vacation. We weren’t sure we would go to Block Island, but it was one of a few choices. We were going to leave on the 29th, his actual birthday and come back Friday. Well his parents (who by the way knew we were going away), bought Red Sox tickets. For the 30th! Ummm, hello. Maybe you could have reached out to me and asked what dates would be good. The best part was having to ask him to change our plans and not tell him why.
Yeah, that didn’t work. I go to him and said, “Honey, we have to change our plans slightly. Don’t make any plans for the 30th and I can’t tell you why.”
He turns and says, “Oh so who bought the Red Sox tickets?”
I left the room. I suck at lying. LOL
In other news I was offered a contract for book three in the Freedom Fantasies series. Play With Me.

I’m about 9k away from finishing Stranded. I want this puppy done by the 25th. I want to go on vacation and not think about writing.
In July I’ll start Tommy’s story. He was in Pretend With Me and deserves to have a HEA. I’m planning this to be a quickie, but we’ll see.
